As a full time magician I have entertained the DC Metro area for years. Magic started as a hobby as a boy and has now grown into a professional business. My goal is to bring a style of magic for children that is contemporary and fun for all ages. I have over 10 years experience working with children as a photographer. With this experience I am able to read children as I perform. I can sense their emotions from a glance. I feel it is important to know when a child is nervous (about being an assistant) and when restlessness is setting in. My shows will bring a level of excitement and magic to entertain audiences of all ages.

My specialty is working with children but I have done adult, corporate, and restaurant shows as well. I will help to make your event an unforgettable experience.

I have loved magic from about the age of seven! The first show that I saw was the movie, Houdini, starring Tony Curtis. After that I was truly hooked! I was fascinated by it, then along came David Copperfield and his grand illusions. I was taken back by the amazing impact magic can have. When I became an adult I really started to study magic on more of a professional level and started performing for family and friends. Then I came across a children's magician and had a chance to see his show, it made me realize this is something that I needed to do. Performing shows allows me to enjoy life by providing lasting memories for children, families, and friends. I truly have a love for children and entertaining others, it's a wonderful feeling to see people laughing and wondering how's that done, and the child in front goes, 'IT'S MAGIC DUH!!' Talk about priceless! That's why I love to show YOU the MAGIC!

For over 20 years Wayne the Wizard has been the children’s favorite magician in the Washington , DC , Baltimore and Annapolis area. He has performed over 3000 shows in the region at birthday parties, schools, daycares, summer camps, scouting events and Boys and Girls Clubs. He has even performed 8 times at the White House, at the request of 3 different presidents for the children’s Easter Egg Roll. He has been featured numerous times on TV, in Washingtonian Magazine, The Washington Post and numerous children's publications.
